Tyde Levi, 18, took to vlogging in 2011 after he was captivated with the fan base his brother Troye Sivan had built on YouTube, and began home-schooling to allow more time for creating more content for his viewers and travelling in 2015.

The Melbourne born singer/songwriter, who participated in DJ competitions in his youth, went on to achieve success in his own right, opening for the Australian and New Zealand legs of Sivan’s Blue Neighbourhood tour. His first single, Goldchains, described as an ‘irresistibly seductive slow jam’, debuted on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 programme over the summer, garnering further praise from Paper and Clash magazine. Inspired by SZA and Frank Ocean, Levi has continued to showcase his sultry vocals, dropping track Sober with a video directed by Kai Neville last month, and releases his self-titled debut EP, December 7.
